Managing Your Subscription

Upgrade, downgrade, or cancel your Made For Law subscription.
Viewing Your Plan
Your current plan and billing status are shown on the Dashboard and in Settings > Billing. You'll see:
- Your current plan (Pro or Enterprise)
- Billing period (monthly or annual)
- Next billing date
- Payment method on file
Upgrading to Pro
Go to Billing
Navigate to Settings > Billing in the portal sidebar.
Click Upgrade
Click Upgrade to Pro to open the checkout page.
Choose your billing cycle
Select Monthly ($49/mo) or Annual ($499/yr). Annual saves you over 15%.
Complete checkout
Enter your payment details through our secure Stripe checkout. You'll get a 14-day free trial.
Beta pricing is locked in. If you subscribe during beta, your rate stays the same for the life of your subscription — even when prices increase to standard rates ($99/mo or $899/yr).
Managing Payment Methods
- Go to Settings > Billing
- Click Open Billing Portal
- In the Stripe Customer Portal, you can:
- Update your credit card
- View payment history
- Download invoices
Switching Billing Cycles
To switch between monthly and annual billing:
- Go to Settings > Billing
- Click Open Billing Portal
- Update your subscription to the desired billing cycle
Canceling Your Subscription
- Go to Settings > Billing
- Click Open Billing Portal
- Click Cancel Subscription
- Your Pro features remain active until the end of your current billing period
After cancellation, your embeddable calculators stop working and portal access is restricted. Your data is preserved, but Pro features (lead capture, branding, integrations) will be disabled. You can resubscribe at any time to restore access.
If you cancel during your 14-day trial, you won't be charged. After the trial, cancellation takes effect at the end of the current billing period.
